The Scottish knitwear house owned by Chanel has just opened its first London store within the prestigious Burlington Arcade. The brand’s debut global boutique opened its doors on Paris’ rue Saint-Honoré over summer, with the goal of refreshing cashmere’s classic codes.

The historical manufacturer was established in the Scottish Borders in 1903, but with design now headed by Odile Massuger, its modern remit is the finest quality cashmere knitted with an avant-garde edge.  And to encapsulate this vision the house has cast Lily Collins, shot by Karl Lagerfeld, to be the face of its first ready-to-wear collection – launched for autumn/winter 2014-15 and in-store now.
